Welcome to a new feature!
Inspired by one of my favorite fantasy authors, I am going to try and feature one of my incredibly talented friends each week. One of my favorite fantasy authors does this each week with her "Friendly Friday" emails and this past week I was her featured friend. To start off this project, I'm going to feature my inspiration; Alethea Kontis,
author, fairy princess, storm chaser and more!
I first had the chance to meet this gorgeous fairy princess at Space Coast Comic Con back in 2015. She was a featured author and I ended up buying a whole series of her books. She is as charming in person as her books are to read. To my pleasure, our paths have crossed again and again in the years since and I now consider her a friend. She has a unique writing style that just draws me in and I absolutely love the twists she gives to classic fairy tales. Her characters are human, with strengths and weaknesses and her feminine heroines are always flawed in ways that resonate reality. You can visit her website at:

I recommend starting with either the Woodcutter Sisters series or Haven. The Woodcutter Sisters is a retelling of classic fairy tales in a whole new light whereas Haven is more of a suspense/mystery along the lines of Supernatural. Both are wonderful!
